Vor 25 Jahren hat Jan Altmann ETFs nach Deutschland geholt, genauer gesagt hat er die Produktgruppe damals bei der Deutschen Börse eingeführt. Inzwischen gibt er sein Wissen als ETF-Experte an den Kryptosektor weiter. Angesichts der vielen Bitcoin-ETF-Anträge in den USA ist sein Expertenrat daher besonders wertvoll.
BlackRock versus SEC
Altmann ist sich sicher, dass BlackRock und Co. langfristige Absichten mit Bitcoin hegen, da sie von ihrem Geschäftsmodell nicht an einem kurzfristigen Pump-and-Dump-Schema interessiert sind. Sollte es einem der Player gelingen, die US-Wertpapieraufsicht zu bezwingen, dann wird durch den Präzedenzfall eine Flut an Bitcoin-Spot-ETFs den Markt erfassen. Gerade im amerikanischen Markt, der anders als der europäische funktioniert, wären die Auswirkungen signifikant.
Gold als Vorbild
