All-in-one app

Why isn’t there an all-in-one app that does, full node, on-chain, and lightning? All the things. This app would exist on all the platforms (desktop & mobile)

(Even better if the distinction of on-chain and lightning is undetectable from the user perspective.)

If a RP4 can do it, so can a smartphone, right?

During install the user can decide how much of the blockchain they want to keep on the device.

While validating all the blocks, actually before validating all the blocks, there’d be a warning sign that says the wallet is relying on other nodes until it finishes validating all blocks, so that the user can still use the wallet before it completes.

Not having to remote connect to servers (Umbrel) is best for most users.

An all in one app is much simpler to onboard new users.

An all in one app will encourage self custody and therefore less paper bitcoin, which is upward pressure on the price.

User would get to choose which node software they want installed.

Sorry, I don’t understand how this could be made possible 🙂 Teach me the ways.
