Besonders hart trifft es Fantom, das Projekt des DeFi-Star-Entwicklers Andre Cronje. Das Total Value Locked (TVL) des Projekts implodierte regelrecht im Zuge des Multichain-Raubs. Jetzt gibt es Zweifel am Überleben Fantoms.

“Wie ihr euch vorstellen könnt, waren die [Fantom] Foundation und all unsere Mitarbeiter den Assets [Multichains] ausgesetzt”, erklärt Andre Cronje im Fantom-Forum. Das Multichain-Team hatte Fantom demnach Sicherheiten bezüglich der Dezentralisierung der Server und den Zugängen dazu gegeben. Doch diese befinden sich nun scheinbar unter der Kontrolle von Dritten. Und damit auch große Teile des Ökosystems und darin verschlossenem Vermögen….
