Is Tails really safer than MacOS to create a seed on Electrum?

I’m planing to run Tails or a clean install of MacOS, download the latest version of Electrum and disconnect from the internet and Bluetooth before generating a new seed. I’ll export the public master key to import to my online computer and from there sweep all my BTC that now seats on a bunch of old paper wallets. I was wondering if it really matters using Tails or a fresh installation of MacOS in this case since both will be “destroyed” before reconnecting the computer to the internet. I kinda trust MacOS more than Tails in this case since Tails could be doing something like pretending to be disconnected form the internet when it is actually not, something way more difficult to happen on macOS.
