Where in the world would you choose to move to?

I have to admit with how unfriendly things feel these days regarding practically all things crypto in the US, I sometimes think of where I would go if things escalated and I finally got too fed up and had the financial means to make a move practical and feasible.

I often hear Portugal floated around as an option due to it being known as crypto tax friendly. Also, places like El Salvador seem to be trying to make things easier for incoming crypto holding expats.

To me, crypto related taxes is a factor but not the only one. Cost of living and also quality of life in relation to safety and healthcare is important to me as well. Also, existing expat communities and cross cultural/language issues would factor in.

For myself, I would probably look into a few options in SE Asia due to familiarity with the region.
